Van Hire available via Holiday Autos
Whilst making a car hire booking a few days ago on the holiday autos website, I noticed that they are also offering motor home hire and van hire.
As I needed to rent a van to collect some furniture from Ikea in London, I decided to try them.
It was very straigtforward going to their website -
http://www.holidayautos.co.uk/cgi-bin/liveweb.sh/QSearch.w?ctryref=GBR&lang=EN&aff=xjeffreymilnerltd Holiday Autos say "they have great rates in 130 UK locations. Moving house? Car too small? Need more space? Our fleet of vans are on hand to help you out. We've a wide range of quality vans in 130 UK locations so there will always be one handy. We've vans to suit all needs. So, if you're moving everything but the kitchen sink or just a chair, we've the van for you. We aim to offer low-cost, easy-to-book van hire. Whatever your needs, you can be sure we can help you with all your van hire requirements."
So I decided to give them a try. Their rental partner was Europcar and I also took the precaution of pre-buying van hire excess insurance on a daily policy via
Insuremycarhire.com ( http://www.insuremycarhire.com/vanExcess.asp?refID=1194&subRefID=188 ) who are part of Insurance4carhire, a company formed in 2002 as an innovative online company specialising in the provision of polices to cover excess on car hire.
As it was a Monday morning, I had to wait whilst the van was prepared and within a short while we were on our way. The price was most competitive and it was returned back to the Europcar office with a full tank of fuel so ther were no deductions.
Do you have any experiences renting a van? Add them to this blog.
