If you are travelling with youngsters who have not reached school age yet and need a car seat, then take your own one. The cost of taking it by plabe could be a lot less than hiring one from a car hire company.
Finally don't go without travel insurance. People often do and once you have left your home country you probably won't be able to buy it.
