Car hire excess insurance providers

I have just carried out some research on line to see how many different organisations are now offering car hire excess insurance.
There appear to be 27 individual insurance providers with websites that I could find on the world wide web.
Out of these 12 were actually using quote and buy programmes from either Towergate Underwriting Group (insurance4carhire +) or questor.

There are now several specialists with Irish .ie web addresses, one in the USA, but found it difficult to find any based in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or other English speaking countries.

I also looked at van hire excess insurance sites and only found one and this is provider who is currently advertising on our specialist site http://www.insurance4vanrental.com/

All the insurance service providers have been listed with screen shots on a specialist page at http://www.insurance4carrental.com/Car_Hire_excess_services.htm

If anyone knows of other car hire excess or van hire excess insurance site, please can they contact me with a reply on this blog.

Hi...
I have used a Car Hire Insurance . Previously thought that it would be a big task to go for car hire insurance as it demands number of documents but things went smoothly. Was a good service provider.

Owning a Car Hire Insurance can be very relieving and such policies comes with numerous benefits. Some car hire excess insurance providing companies charge extra for having more than one driver included and the other driver may have to pay a higher excess amount which, depends on their age and driving experience. But purchasing a car hire excess insurance policy is not a piece of cake. It is very essential to understand each and every terms and conditions, as they use to be very complicated. So, wise is to be an owner of such policy rather than being a victim of mishap.
